Quick start
- Open Screenshot Namer.
- Select Choose Folder.
- Pick the folder containing your screenshots.
- Select Review Screenshots.
- Check the suggested names.
- Select Rename All when ready.
Supported files
PNG, JPG, JPEG, HEIC, TIFF, and WebP files are supported. Screenshot Namer reviews images whose filenames begin with Screenshot, Screen Shot, CleanShot, or Snip.
Frequently asked questions
Are my screenshots uploaded?
No. Image analysis runs on your Mac using Apple Vision.
Why does the app ask me to select a folder?
macOS App Sandbox protects your files. Screenshot Namer can access and rename files only in a folder you explicitly choose.
Can I review names before changing files?
Yes. Nothing is renamed until you select Rename All.
What happens when two screenshots receive the same name?
The app adds a short number while keeping the filename stem within 20 characters.
Why was an image ignored?
Confirm that it uses a supported format and that its current filename begins with Screenshot, Screen Shot, CleanShot, or Snip.

Screenshot Namer is designed to process screenshots privately on your Mac.
Data collection
Screenshot Namer does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. It does not include analytics, advertising, tracking technology, third-party SDKs, or user accounts.
Screenshot processing
Images selected through the app are analyzed locally using Apple system frameworks. Screenshot contents and filenames are not uploaded to the developer or any third party.
File access
The app can access only folders you choose through the macOS folder picker. It stores a security-scoped bookmark on your Mac so it can remember the selected folder. You can revoke access by removing the app, clearing its container data, or selecting another folder.
Data retention
The developer does not receive or retain your screenshots, filenames, or usage information. Suggested names and file operations occur locally.
Children’s privacy
Because the app collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If the app’s privacy practices change, this policy will be updated before the relevant app version is released.

Custom Artwork
Our custom products are made to the specifications of the customer. Colors shown throughout our website may vary due to differences in monitors. Customers are responsible for proofreading and approving the final artwork before production can begin. We are not responsible for typos, non-matching colors, or overlooked errors. Please be mindful that no more changes can be made once the product is approved and in production. Since the product is custom-made for the customer, they are non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless we made the error. We will not accept products back that the customer ordered in the wrong size and/or color. We make these items according to the colors and sizes requested by the customer. Therefore, we will not be responsible for the customer’s mistake of not ordering the correct product/item. All sales are final on custom orders, unless we made the error.
Custom Design Policy
We at Scott Cre8ive, LLC reserve the right to refuse a customer’s artwork, logo(s), and/or design requests for any reason, including but not limited to material that includes “hate speech,” i.e., abusive, threatening, or demeaning words, symbols, or images based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or disability. Feature explicit sexual content or nudity, or include sexually suggestive photos or text, or pornographic. Promote, feature, or encourage the use of any kind of drugs.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please get in touch with our team using via email at support@scottcre8ive.design and provide a clear photo showing the issue.
